Job Summary: 

This position is for experienced digital marketers. Daily, the position will work on client accounts, perform various internet marketing tasks to a consistently high standard and support the smooth running of the department. They will be responsible for the more complex and higher-spending client work. They will be instrumental in the development and advancement of the Internet Marketing department, through research, development, and project work. They will stay ahead of industry insights, developments, and changes, and apply their extensive knowledge and experience to advancing the department and their clients.

 

Key Responsibilities & Tasks: 

Client Work

  • Maintain a high standard in all aspects of work, such as batch work, revisits, strategizing, content marketing, reporting, and reviews.
  • Responsible for a greater proportion of higher spend/high profile clients, managing more complex accounts, trialing new products or services, client proposals, in-depth reporting, and detailed strategizing, etc.
  • Build successful working relationships with clients, ensuring a full understanding of their business requirements, restrictions, and goals.
  • Handle any problems or issues that arise with AMs, clients, and other departments professionally and autonomously, seeing them through to a satisfactory outcome.
  • Attend client meetings and present the work completed/represent the department’s skills, in a professional and knowledgeable manner.
  • Work with the Internet Marketing team and other departments to analyze available data/information to increase performance and create strategies for client development, and guide the client in how to best utilize Internet Marketing and other Breeez services for their company.
  • Record all work undertaken and document performance, issues, and outcomes, so it can be accessed by the head of department, team leaders (and AMs), when required.

Project Work

  • Research and propose new projects, considering the company objectives and department development.
  • Take a lead role in projects, researching, planning, managing a team, and driving through to completion with minimal supervision. If not the lead in a project, support the project lead as a subject matter expert.
  • Document the ongoing status of the project (aims, issues, and results), reporting to the head of projects and directors, as required. Following implementation, review the success of the project against the agreed criteria.

Mentoring & Training

  • Assist the head of the department and team leaders in staff training, either in groups or individually, to advance their technical skills and knowledge, ensuring that attendees have understood and are able to apply their learning, grow their experience, and further their usage of new techniques.
  • Mentor identified team members, being a point of contact for their questions/queries, providing guidance and support when preparing for meetings, projects, and complex/high-value accounts, actively encouraging their personal development.
  • Be the ‘go-to’ person in the department for technical know-how, products/processes, relevant industry knowledge and advancements, and career advice.

Research & Development

  • Be instrumental in the development and advancement of the department by researching new techniques, theories, tools, processes, and products, in line with the company and department objectives.
  • Highlight areas of the department that require improving, either technically or in regards to process, effectiveness, or efficiency, and take ownership of developing a solution.
  • Document all findings and research throughout the R&D stage, report to team leader, head of department, and directors, and put together presentations for delivery to other staff.
  • Responsible for the implementation of new techniques, theories, tools, processes, and products, across the department and company. Continually monitor understanding and progression and follow up with a review to analyze success and effectiveness once changes have been in place for a sufficient period of time.
  • Work with seniors in other departments to share ideas and develop integrated proposals to further the progression of the company.

Proposals & Tenders

Proposals:

  • Research and assemble a detailed proposal of the internet marketing work Breeez can provide to prospective high-caliber clients
  • Accompany and provide subject matter expertise to assist AMs at proposal meetings and outline the Internet Marketing proposal to the prospective client, providing as much detail and answering questions as necessary to ensure a clear understanding to all involved.
  • Follow up the client meeting with a recount of the proposal and the services the client expressed an interest in and assist the AM with the creation and implementation of a plan to move the account forward.

Tenders:

  • Evaluate the Internet Marketing requirements and provide input into/review any high-level tender documents and work with the relevant departments and AMs to ensure the tender is complete to the highest standard by the required deadline.

Key Skills & Knowledge:

Essential

Experience

  • 3+ years of commercial experience in Digital/Internet Marketing and SEO
  • Project lead and management

Working Knowledge

  • Google Analytics, Webmaster Tools, and other Google marketing tools/platforms
  • Social media platforms and their applications for marketing purposes
  • Content Marketing
  • HTML & CSS
  • WordPress
  • Email Marketing

Basic Knowledge

  • Google Adwords and other PPC platforms

Desirable

  • Working knowledge of Affiliate Marketing
  • Working Knowledge of CMS systems
  • GI IQ certification

Additional Information

  • Compensation: $70,000
  • Proof of eligibility to work in the United States will be required.
  • This is a full-time position working out of our Charlotte, NC office (Morehead Sq.). Remote and hybrid working flexibility is available after an initial 6-month probation period, provided the employee has demonstrated adequate independent working and time management skills.
